Meet The Chef
Frédéric Royer, a certified Red Seal chef, has been cooking professionally for over a decade within fine dining restaurants, hotels and much more. Mediterranean bistronomy influences Frederic's style with North American culture and local ingredients. Living in Whistler for over seven years, he had the chance of working in first-class food establishments in all positions, from Broiler Cook at Hy's Steakhouse to Chef de Cuisine at the Trattoria di Umberto. He then pursued his education through the service industry at the Bearfoot Bistro and WSET courses, where he acquired extensive knowledge on cocktails, spirits, and wines from around the world. It became a primary focus as he employs these skills to pair dinners in various styles, from most famous international producers to boutique BC wines or cocktails.
Since Home Bistronomy's inception, our team has grown with a few more amazing local chefs and service professional, we now offer outstanding service quality to multiple events of all sizes.

Communication with Freddy was constant and he incorporated our feedback and desires into his proposal. Food quality was amazing as was the presentation and the back story on each dish as he detailed upon serving. He was on time, and left everything just as he found it. Would 100% have Freddy back to cook for us!

Private dining rates
The pricing reflects a rate per head, it is dependent on the menu choice and the number of guests attending. In a booking for more than eight guests, it covers one hospitality professional assisting me. For larger parties, it might include additional staff.
Catering enquiries are priced differently.
